About the Boiler House

Once home to the original Shirehall boilers, The Boiler House is now a
purpose built, fully equipped Yoga Studio.

With 64 square metres of floor space, underfloor heating, air-conditioning and an adjustable lighting system, this unique space provides an ideal environment in
which to teach and learn.

Situated in a quiet corner of the Shirehall complex, just a short walk through the cathedral grounds will take you to the vibrant, historic town centre of Bury St Edmunds.

For information about classes being held here at The Boiler House please click on the CLASSES link for further details.

As a student, it is necessary to contact the teachers direct to book into their classes or workshops, as this is a specialist space for hire, rather than a commercial centre.

Contact details are featured on individual class listings.

Venue Hire

The Boiler House is a bespoke yoga studio, fully stocked with a variety of mats and props for the use of your students. The neutrality of the space makes it a wonderful place to teach from as you can make your event truly your own.

The studio is run as a space for hire by teachers and therapists to host their own events, workshops and regular scheduled classes.  There is a small, beautiful kitchen with sink, kettle, fridge and dishwasher and a worktop area for some food preparation if necessary. Free drinks are available for your students too.

The studio is a short walk from the centre of town, so all day events are popular here as the venue is close to a number of food outlets and cafes.

If your students are likely to travel some distance for workshops and larger events hosted here, there is a brand new Premier Inn within the converted Shire Hall, which is a minute’s walk from the studio. This has plenty of parking provided for it’s customers too.

To enquire about holding classes and workshops at the studio please e-mail info@yogaattheboilerhouse.com to check availability.
